By now you should have had an email from me asking for your thoughts on the organisation of Meet @ Malvern. If not, then please leave a comment here or email me so I can arrange to send it out to you.
Rather than having lots of questions about every aspect of our get together, I've tried to keep things simple by just asking what went well, what didn't go so well and what was missing. Helen and I also have our own thoughts and ideas on what we might have done differently, but we're keen to find out what you think too. Thanks to those of you who emailed me before I sent out the questionnaire, I'll be adding your comments to the mix. However, you may have something else to add...
Once we've received your comments, Helen and I will be getting together to discuss whether there'll be another Meet @ Malvern. We haven't decided yet, but we've already realised that arrangements will need to be simplified and/or shared out somehow in future. You can also help by letting me know if you thought anything was surplus to requirements or how things might be done differently. I've also asked you if you'd come to Malvern another time: the answer to that vital question could also affect whether we meet again!

I really enjoyed it, I thought Michelle and Helen put a hell of a lot of time into organising it and I'd love to do another one.
BUT...I think it's a bit unfair that so much organisation should be left to Michelle and Helen, especially if they're hosting meeting points and parties and so on.
I think you get out of these things as much as you put in. We're all grown-ups and we're all perfectly capable of taking responsibility for ourselves.
So I would suggest having only one meeting time per day, perhaps at 2pm, to catch morning and afternoon visitors?
Thanks Victoria. Helen and I have discussed ditching the morning meet up already as so few people came to it. Besides it contradicts our hints and tips section where we urge everyone to get into the Floral Marquee as early as possible!

We are doing it again, but the organisation will be very low key this year. I'm revamping the blog at the moment so that the useful information about travel etc. is much more obvious. I'd appreciate your input on how transferring from Birmingham airport worked for you and what you did to add to the Getting There page ( see the link at the top of the blog).
Looks like we won't have a gathering at the lovely Lighthouse this year :(
